Surfbod is a grassroots surf brand developed in Lincolnshire. We have been in operation since 2006 and are growing our business online through our clothing range selling surf apparel such as tee-shirts, hoodies and accessories amongst other items . We have teamed up with the online fundraising platform "WeFund" to raise £5000 for our first range of hand crafted surfboards. We have manufactured a small amount of surfboards for private sales, however, due to the cost of production we have not yet been able to manufacture a range of surf boards to advertise and sell.
A mission of Surfbod is to design surf craft that are suitable to be used by disabled children and adults who through their disability have never had the opportunity to surf. We also want to outreach to those who have become disabled through a tragic accident or Injured at war, we believe surfing can help rehabilitation and give them a new lease of life.
We also want our work to strongly support charitable causes, specifically youth development projects. We want to create a platform for young people who have never had the opportunity to create or design something that they can be really proud of. Read More
